Privacy Policy

Last updated October 30, 2026

We ask for what we need to book your visit, do the work and get paid, and not much else. Here’s exactly what that is, who helps us handle it, and how to get it back or have it deleted.

The short version
  • We collect what it takes to book and do your job, and to review job applications.
  • We never take card details on this site. You pay your technician when the job is done.
  • We don’t sell your information, share it for ads, or use tracking cookies.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete what we have about you at any time.

Who we are

Tech Gawdess LLC provides in-home tech services across Southern California: TV mounting, smart home, Wi-Fi, security cameras and computer help. When this policy says “we” or “us,” it means Tech Gawdess LLC. It covers techgawdess.com, the emails we send you, and the information we handle when we come to your home.

What we collect

When you book a visit, we ask for:

  • Your name, mobile number and email address.
  • The address where we’re doing the work, and any notes you add, like a gate code or which wall the TV goes on.
  • The services you picked, your answers about the job, the date and arrival window you chose, and any promo code.

We don’t take payment on this site. There’s no card form and we never ask for card details online. You pay your technician once the job is done.

When you apply to join the team, we ask for your name, phone, email and ZIP code, the kinds of work you do, your experience and availability, anything you’d like to tell us about work you’re proud of, and how you heard about us. If you move forward, we’ll ask before running a background check, and that check is handled under its own separate consent.

When you call, text or email us, we keep what you send so we can help you and follow up.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and when. We use them to keep the site running and secure. We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers. Our Cookies page lists the little we do store in your browser.

How we use it

  • To confirm your booking, send your technician to the right place at the right time, and do the job you asked for.
  • To contact you about your visit by phone, text or email, including the confirmation and your receipt.
  • To review your application and get in touch about work.
  • To prevent fraud and abuse, keep the site and our records secure, and keep the business records the law requires.

We don’t send marketing emails. If we ever start, you’ll have to opt in first, and every message will have a way to stop.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share only what each of these needs to do its part:

  • Your technician sees your name, phone, address, notes and the job details, so they can do the work.
  • Resend delivers the emails we send you.
  • Vercel hosts this website.
  • A background screening company, only for job applicants who move forward and agree to a check.

These companies work on our behalf and may use your information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would still apply to it.

How long we keep it

  • Bookings and payment records: for as long as we need them for taxes, accounting and any warranty or billing question, which is generally up to seven years.
  • Job applications: for as long as employment law requires us to keep hiring records.
  • Server logs: only for a short time, then our host discards them.

After that, we delete it or strip out anything that identifies you.

Keeping it safe

The site uses HTTPS everywhere, so what you send is encrypted on the way to us. Bookings and applications are only visible to our office and to the technician assigned to your job. No system is perfectly secure, but if something ever went wrong that affected your information, we’d tell you as the law requires.

Your choices and California rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we have about you, where it came from, and who we’ve shared it with.
  • Give you a copy of it.
  • Correct anything that’s wrong.
  • Delete it, unless we have to keep it, for example a payment record we need for taxes.

California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. You also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, though there’s nothing to opt out of because we don’t do either. We won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you can ask whether we’ve shared your information with others for their own marketing. We haven’t.

To make a request, email hello@techgawdess.com or call (909) 652-2607. To protect you, we’ll confirm it’s you by checking against the email or phone number on your booking or application. Someone can make a request for you if you give them written permission. We’ll respond within 45 days.

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. We don’t track you across other sites, so there’s nothing for those signals to switch off, but we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out all the same.

Children

Our services and job openings are for adults. An adult 18 or older has to book and be home for the visit, and applicants must be 18 or older. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you think a child has sent us their information, tell us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant and we have your email, we’ll let you know before it takes effect.
